Lake Tapps Residential Roofing:
Shane’s house has a beautiful view overlooking Lake Tapps. When he bought his home it came with a roof made of concrete tiles. These are very durable but over time they begin to crack due to temperature fluctuations and the repeated impact of falling objects.Â
We removed the broken tile roof and replaced the sheathing with CDX plywood. We also replace the skylights and gutters, before installing his Malarkey Windsor® Scotchgardâ„¢ in the color of “Midnight Black“
Sumner WA Residential Roofing:
Michelle in Sumner had a problem with one of her skylights leaking. After an inspection, we determined where the leak was coming from and gave her the option to just fix the leak or replace the entire roof due to it’s age. She decided to take us up on the roof replacement and replace the skylights while we were at it. Her choice of Malarkey Highlander Nex in “Black Oak” really enhanced the overall curb appeal of her home with it’s low slope darker roof.Â
Auburn Residential Roofing:
Tom has a beautiful house up in the Lakeland Hills and his wood shake roof was starting to fail. The wood along the ridgelines was crumbling to the touch. We came in and removed all the old roof and replaced it with Malarkey Windsor® Scotchgardâ„¢ shingle in “Black Oak”.
Auburn WA Commercial Roofing:
While we didn’t stop to take as many photos of this job, we thought it was worth showing. This commercial building had an old layer of torchdown that had been failing for years. We were able to repair the areas that had been getting damaged by water and give this building a new torchdown roofing system. It looks pretty good considering nobody will ever see it!
Puyallup Residential Roofing:
Don called us because his wood shake roof had gotten a really bad case of over growth. This can cause the plant roots to penetrate the vapor barrirer and cause rot issues to the framing. Thank goodness he called us in time as we were able to remove all the old wood shake, add sheathing which his previous roofing system didn’t have and finally we installed IKO Armourshake in Shadow BlackÂ
Steilacoom WA Residential Roofing:
Craig’s roof is a classic 12/12, which is a technical way of saying it’s really steep! While it hadn’t started to leak yet, it was quite old and starting to show signs of deterioration. With a roof pitch this steep, it’s a significant portion of the home’s appearance from the street. That’s why Craig’s choice of the Malarkey Visa AR shingle in “Midnight Black” made a great choice for his new roof.Â
Tacoma WA Wind Damaged Roof:
Libbi had roof damage from a wind storm and called us a bit frantic because she had water leaking in. We came right over and covered her house with a large tarp to stop the water. Then we got her a quote so she could submit it to her insurance, and came back to replace the roof. She appreciated our services so much that she’s sent us several new customers. We might have to offer her a sales job if she keeps it up!Â
Auburn WA Commercial Roofing:
This commercial roof got a one ply PVC roof. While the prep and installation is laborious, once complete the PVC surface is very impact resistant and will last for many years. We also happen to think it looks great!
Seattle WA 'Living' Roof:
Jim bought this house knowing it was a ‘fixer upper’ and had us come give him a roofing inspection. We were shocked to say the least because in 150 years of combined roofing experience, nobody on our team had seen anything like this up close. The south side of the roof had the worst growth and after removing inches of plants and dirt, we then began to remove 2 layers of asphalt shingles. The old shiplap sheathing had turned to compost in most areas so we removed that and inspected the framing. We found 2 places where the supporting structure of the roof were starting to rot, which was causing the sagging roof line. Our in-house carpenters got the framing repaired and covered the roof in CDX plywood, followed by a vapor barrier and ‘Black Oak’ Malarkey Highlander® NEX® shingles, brown accessories, flashing, and new 5k gutters all around.Â
